Home Information Packs (HIPs)

Give me a call or email me. I will come and visit you at a time we agree, explain about the Home Information Pack, answer any questions you may have and undertake the Energy Performance Certificate inspection (usually takes around 1 hour).

Q. What areas do you cover?

I am available throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Q. In what format is the Home Information Pack produced?

It is produced in .pdf format so that it can easily be sent by email to yourself, your Estate Agent and any prospective purchasers who wish to see it. A printed copy can be provided at an additional cost of £12.

Q. How much notice do you need?

It depends on my diary for that week. I aim to turn around the HIP as soon as possible and undertake the initial inspection at your earliest convenience.

Q. How much does the Home Information Pack cost?

It depends on the area in which you live and the number of bedrooms in your property. Please use the calculator on the home page to get a quotation.

Q. I work all week can you inspect at the weekend?

Certainly, I currently work most Saturdays and can also call on Sundays if this is more convenient. In the summer months, with lighter nights, it would also be possible to call in the evening after you finish work.

Q. What documents are included in the Home Information Pack?

Q. How do I pay you?

By cheque or cash. For private clients payment will be required at our initial meeting. There is also the option of deferred payment over 9 months.

Q. Do I need a HIP before I can sell my property?

You do not need to have a completed HIP in order to market your property, you just have to have ordered one. I will provide you with a letter confirming your instruction to enable you to market your property straight away.
